María Isabel Saravia Balleza

She is in charge of Intellectual Property Rights and Counseling and Training Departments on intellectual property in Legal Offices.

María Isabel has specialized in Intellectual Property, and since 2005, in Intellectual Property Training and management of IP departments. With her experience and after identifying what the market needs, she decides to establish the first boutique firm dedicated exclusively to INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. The fact of being a specialized firm dedicated 100% to Intellectual Property allows her to implement creative and profitable strategies, and processes and economies of scale, thus generating value for her clients.

Throughout her career, she has been an active member of various international organizations, allowing her to specialize in meeting the requirements of foreign firms that have legal needs in Guatemala and Central America. She has structured this counseling, taking into consideration not only the needs of the end clients but also the firms to which they have entrusted their intellectual assets worldwide, working with them easily and efficiently. Being an attorney who refers trademarks to other countries, she perfectly knows the quality of service expected from a correspondent, and she has excelled in exceeding it.

Lastly, as part of her experience, she works as a consultant for law firms that have Intellectual Property requirements, but do not have a structured efficient and profitable operation. María Isabel advises these firms on forms, procedures, finances, and other aspects so that they can build a genuine Intellectual Property department that generates profitability for the firms.

When she is not practicing her profession, she dedicates time to her children and to the artisan cosmetic products company based on macadamia oil @xulugt.
